Paragon Dog Flea Repellent Shampoo - 5LTR

Precautions to protect your dog: Do not use this shampoo whilst using other flea products. FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. If signs of disease persists, consult your veterinary surgeon. Caution: On first application check your pet for any irritation. Observe your pet for 30 minutes after treatment. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. DO NOT CONTAMINATE FOODSTUFFS, EATING UTENSILS OR FOOD CONTACT SURFACES. WASH HANDS AND EXPOSED SKIN before meals and after use. Avoid contact with eyes. In Case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice and show this container or label.

Wet your dogs hair with warm water and apply shampoo directly onto pets coat. Gently massage into pets coat, using fingertips around the head and behind the ears, avoiding the eyes. Rinse and repeat with lukewarm water and towel dry. Use a flea comb to comb hair. 

Repeat in 7 days if required.

How much to use:

• Use 30mls for a small dog (such as a terrier).
• Use up to 50mls for a medium size dog (such as a Collie).
• Use up to 70mls for a large dog (such as a German Shepherd).

Sustainably sourced.  The active Java Citronella Oil that we use in our products is a natural replacement for DEET . It is most commonly grown in Java, Indonesia and other south east Asian countries on fields in the mountains and the hillsides. The fields where this grass grows are not suitable for growing any other crops, and therefore this natural product serves as a lifeline for the independent families that work and farm these crops.Three times a year, when the crops are ready, the families take in the crops and extract the oil from the plants right on the hillside where the grass is grown whilst at its freshest retaining maximum actives in the oil extract during the process.When Citronella grass is harvested (cut down to the roots) and put into cages, it then goes through a steam distillation process. This extracts the oil which is the raw material the active ingredient PMD is derived from.

The remaining grass and plant matter is composted down and used to refertilize the land to feed the growth of the next crops. These crops can be grown and harvested three times each year, on land that no one else could use - helping to create jobs for indigenous farmers who otherwise wouldn’t be able to use this land due to its unique geography.Once the oil arrives in the UK, our uniquely formulated products are created and produced in the north of England. As our formulation is from such a refined product, we are able to formulate an emulsion product without the need for alcohol and other chemicals which allows Products to have a much cleaner natural formulation, therefore manufacturing a kinder product to both the end user and the environment.
